Original Japanese Samurai sword from mid Edo period.
Tosa jū Kōzuke no Daijō Fujiwara Hisakuni , real name Kimura Hei´emon , he also make the first name Heizō , adopted son of the 1st gen. Kunimasu , he went during the Hōei era 1704 -1711 to Kyōto and studied there under the 2nd gen. Ōmi no Kami Hisamichi (久道), he died in the first year of Kanpō (寛保, 1741), he worked in the style of Hisamichi and hardened a gunome-chōji in nie-deki that is mixed with slanted elements, chū-saku Swordsmith in the province of Tosa.
He used the title ‘Kozuke no kami’ and was then given the title ‘Kozuke daijo’ sometime during the Huy era (1704-11).
He studied under Kinshiro Hisamichi (1627-1711), who had been a student of Kimmichi of the Sampin School in Yamashiro Province.
