Signature: Omi Kami Hojoji Tachibana Masahiro (first generation)
(Gold inlay) Futatsu Do Raku, Tomita Yaichizaemon Jo Shigetsuna (Kao)
Ue Wakige, Shita San, Enpo 9 Kanoto-Tori Nen 3 Gatsu 12 Nichi.
This sword made between 1661−1673.

Special feature: Oumi Kami Hojyuji Tachibana Masahiro was named Takigawa who was bone at tajima province.
Later on he moved to Edo and communicated with grat master Kotetsu.
Studied from him and founded Hojyoji school and became the master of the school.There
are number of the student like Sadakuni, Kunimasa, Masateru Masatsugu and so on.
This sword is typical Masahiro style like Kotetsu.

Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 43.9 cm or 17.28 inches.Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31
inches.Mekugi: 2 Width at the hamachi: 3.13 cm or 1.23 inches.

Width at the Kissaki: 2.08 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane: 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.Era: Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape: Rather wide and thick nice shape Wakizashi
Jitetsu:: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach like Konuka hada extremely nice jigane.
Hamon: Nie deki, suguha with rather thick nioikuchi and round shape Boshi.

Special feature: Tadahiro the Second forged this katana.
He was born Heisakuro Hashimoto as a legitimate son of Tadayoshi
the First.Tadahiro was only19 years old when his father passed away in1632.
But he was enough skillful to forge sword at that
time.Tadahiro designated the Omi-Daijo in 1641, aged 29 and continued not only forging sword
but also supervised many pupils until his death in 1693, aged 80.
He is known as a skillful swordsmith almost all works are above the standard hizen-to.
He had been forged sword for a long period of time to leave the largest number of swords among the swordsmiths of Hizen school.He
was good at both of Suguha-hamon and Choji-midare Hamon.
Especially the beauty of Jitetsu called konuka-hada is appreciated as the best among the hizen-to.His
swords are ranked at the Owaza-mono because of the sharpness.
