Exceptional Katana by Nankai Taro Masataka Takahashi Sadatsugu  NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon  Showa Period (1972) This outstanding katana was forged by Nankai Taro Masataka (real name: Morioka Toshio, 1918), a distinguished swordsmith of the Takahashi Sadatsugu School. Trained under the legendary Takahashi Teitagu  designated a Living National Treasure  Masataka carried forward an unbroken lineage of master swordsmiths, being the great-grandson of Nankai Taro Asato. Certified by the NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon, this blade meets the highest standards of authenticity, quality, and preservation, marking it as a work of both technical and artistic excellence.
